Contact Us - Careers Personal Trainer : All Overload Facilites are currently seeking qualified exercise practitioners Looking for motivated, personable, enthusiastic and a hard working exercise practitioner (trainer) to assist our clients into making a healthy lifestyle change and attaining their personal goals. We specialize in high intensity strength training (HIT); our protocols require a trainer who is highly educated, works in a clinically controlled environment, instructs and motivates our clients to perform exercise at maximum performance levels. Clientele ranges from student athletes to retirees, so your ability to interact with people of all ages will be essential. Must be goal oriented, able to communicate well with others and have the desire and ability to run a personal training business. Requirements: - Highly Educated- Masters Degree Preferred in a science related field (personal training, exercise physiology, exercise science, athletic training, physical therapy, nutrition, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the human anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition; how these effect the human body and its performance
- Administer and evaluate client assessments and progressions
- Ensures the entire exercise program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as body assessments, nutrition, and high intensity strength training
- Stimulates interest in High Intensity Training and improves cardiovascular and muscle
conditions - Willingness to market HIT protocols
- Instructs participants on proper exercise techniques and the use of equipment
- Ensures proper management of participant records, maintains records and follow up on participants' attendance, exercise frequency and changes in physiological conditioning
- Retests clients and updates their exercise programs and advises them on physiological retesting results
- Ensures a safe and clean facility by checking equipment, addressing and correcting malfunctions and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies
- Coordinates and participates on other wellness related projects as assigned
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid are required; knowledge of CVD risk factors
- Individuals must maintain a neat and clean appearance and a high level of professionalism at all times
- An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum qualifications for this position are: Degree in an Exercise Science or a closely related field and 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible related experience.
